QuickBooks Premier® is for the “step-up” version of QuickBooks Pro. It has enhancements that are specific to the industries that are developed.
- Manufacturing and Wholesale edition – addresses inventory issues, processing orders and building assemblies. Special reports address issues of Sales Orders, Purchase Orders and Inventory status and valuation.
- Retail edition – addresses processing orders that are quick and “across the counter”. Inventory management is also addressed.
- Professional edition – addresses service based businesses like engineering, law, and consulting, where time is tracked along with reporting on efficiency.
